The Bentley is an adult manual tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility, lower extremity, neurological, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This chair can be propelled by hand and/or foot in and out of tilt. FRAME: The overall width with 12- or 16-inch wheels is the seat width plus 9.5 inches; with 20- or 24-inch wheels and hand rims the overall width is the seat width plus 10.5 inches and without hand rims, the width is the seat width plus 9 inches. The overall length without front riggings is 28 to 35 inches. This chair has a steel frame and is available in a choice of a standard frame or a heavy-duty high agitation frame. A transit ready frame package is available. The frame is equipped with a stroller-style push handle. canestyle push handles are optional. Rear anti-tips are not included, but are required. The frame is available in a choice of metallic black, Cosmic Blue, or Mars Red; custom colors are available at an extra charge. TILT: Zero to 20 degrees. Right- or left-side attendant-activated tilt is standard. Right- or left-side user-activated tilt is available at an extra cost. A tilt trigger extension is available. SEAT: The standard seat width is available in a choice of 14 to 20 inches in one-inch increments. Seat widths from 21 to 32 inches are available at an extra charge. The standard seat depth is available in 16, 17, 18, 19, or 20 inches and can be adjusted from 16 to 20 inches. Optional seat depths are available in 20, 21, or 22 inches and adjustable from 16 to 22 inches at an extra charge. Options include a solid seat pan, clothing guards, auto-style seat belts, hip belt, and chest strap. A choice of back angles is standard. A reclining back, a fold-down back, backrest extension, headrest, and spring-loaded back suspension are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black padded nylon upholstery is standard. Tall upholstery and extra back padding are available. CUSHION: Optional cushions are available. ARMRESTS:Armrests are optional. Full- or desk-length fixed height or height-adjustable armrests and flip-up armrests are available. Arm pads, arm troughs, and hand pads are optional. BRAKES: Push-to-lock wheel locks are standard and pull-to-lock wheel locks are available at no charge. Options include attendant-operated wheel locks, combination user and attendant-operated wheel locks, and wheel lock extensions. WHEELS: 12-, 16-, 20-, or 24-inch rear wheels with solid tires. Pneumatic tires and pneumatic tires with airless inserts are available. Fixed axles are standatd and quick-release axles are available at no charge. Heavy-duty 24-inch spoked wheels are optional. Steel handrims are standard with 20- and 24-inch wheels. Plastic-coated and plastic-coated projection handrims are optional. CASTERS: 6 x 1.25 inch urethane front casters are standard. Options include 8 x 1.25 inch urethane casters and 8 x 2 inch urethane or pneumatic casters (with 16- or 24-inch rear wheels only). FOOTRESTS: 70-degree removable plug-in front rigging is standard. No cost options include 60- or 70-degree swing-away removable front rigging or 70-degree tapered, swing-away removable front rigging. Elevating legrests and elevating articulating legrests are available at an extra charge. Flip-up composite footplates are standard. Oversized aluminum footplates, fixed one-piece footrest, and flip-up one-piece footplate are optional, as are heel loops, calf straps, dynamic mounts, and extension tubes. OPTIONS: Lower padding and vent tray. CAPACITY: The standard capacity is 250 pounds. The capacity with the custom heavy-duty package is 350 pounds and 450 pounds with the extra-wide custom heavy-duty package. WEIGHT: Minimum chair weight with no accessories is 50 pounds. WARRANTY: The frame has a five-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. DELIVERY TIME: Two weeks is standard. Seat widths greater than 22 inches require four to six weeks.
