Picture of ORION II The Orion II is an adult manual tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility, lower extremity, neurological, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxWxH): 34.5 x 27.5 x 44 inches. The seat-to-floor height ranges from 13.25 to 20 inches, depending on the choice of wheels and casters. The frame is equipped with a low or high push bar and cane-style push handles. A multi-adjustable axle plate is standard. Rear anti-tips are optional. The frame is available in black, blue, burgundy, green, orange, pink, purple, red, silver or yellow. TILT: 3 to 48 degrees with optional locking collar. An optional power tilt is available, powered by 24-volt battery with 27-volt charger. SEAT (WxD): (15, 16, 17, 18 or 19) x (15, 16, 17, 18 or 19) inches; widths of 20, 21 and 22 inches and a depth of 20 inches are available at an extra charge. An adjustable, folding back or a fixed back is available with back heights of 19-24 inches. The back reclines from 6 to 36 degrees. Headrest is optional. An aluminum seating pan is standard. CUSHION: Optional cushions are available. ARMRESTS: Fixed height 2-point armrests are standard. Armrest height is 9.5 inches. T-style height-adjustable armrests or flip-up height-adjustable armrests are optional. Both styles are available with gel/foam or vinyl pads. BRAKES: Push- or pull-to-lock wheel locks are standard. WHEELS: 12, 20-, 22- or 24-inch rear wheels with solid or pneumatic tires are standard. Pneumatic tires with airless inserts are available. Stainless steel handrims are standard; plastic coated handrims are optional. CASTERS: 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- or 8-inch casters are standard. FOOTRESTS: 70-degree swing-away rigging with aluminum or composite footplates and heel loops are standard. 70- or 80- degree pin-style rigging, 60- or 90-degree swing-away rigging, and elevating legrests are optional. Extra-large aluminum and composite flip-up footplates and 15-22 inch one-piece footplates are also optional. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 65 pounds. WARRANTY: One-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship; the frame has a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.
