---DISCONTINUED. (VERIFIED 3/18/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE.--- Add-on power system to convert a manual wheelchair into a powered chair. Designed to fit all manual wheelchairs. Proportional joystick control attaches to the left or right armrest. 24 volt motors. Automatic braking system. Disassembles to allow wheelchair to fold for transport. Maximum speed, 5 miles per hour. Maximum range, 10 miles. System attaches over the top of the rear wheels. Batteries are mounted in front of crossbars under the seat.

Notes: Before purchasing, determine whether this unit is compatible with the manual wheelchair to be converted.
