The J6, models 2S-C, 2S-SS and 2SP-SS, is an adult powered wheelchair designed for indoor and outdoor use by adults with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxW): 34.5 x 23.25 inches with a 2.25-inch ground clearance and a 21.25-inch turning radius. This wheelchair has Active-Trac (ATX) suspension and a non-folding frame. The chair is available in red and blue. CONTROLS: 75 amp Q-Logic NE joystick controller is standards; other controllers are available. MWD: Two-motor, Mid-Wheel 6 drive. SEAT (WxD): The standard seats are contour medium or high back, 18 x 18 inches, or a specialty seating kit or a Synergy seat, 18 x 16 inches. Other sizes are available. The Synergy seat is available with manual recline and manual tilt. TRU-Balance 2 power tilt seats also are available. UPHOLSTERY: Beige, brown, black or gray vinyl; or brown or gray fabric. ARMRESTS: Flip-up, cane-mounted armrests with 10- or 14-inch arm pads are standard. Optional armrests include flip-up, removable, 2-post height adjustable armrests; removable, height-adjustable heavy-duty armrests; and single-post height adjustable armrests. BRAKES: Electronic, regenerative disc brakes. CASTERS: 6-inch rear and 5-inch front nylon, spherical-shaped casters are standard. WHEELS: 10-inch wheels with flat-free tires are standard. FOOTRESTS: Elevating footrests are standard. Swing-away footrests, and heel loops are optional. OPTIONS: Dust cover, cup holder, rear basket, saddle bag, oxygen tank holder, walker holder, and a cane/crutch holder. POWER: Uses two 12-volt deep cycle U-1 batteries. An off-board 5 amp battery charger is included. SPEEDS: 4 miles per hour with a maximum range of 15 miles. CAPACITY: 300 pounds (250 pounds with a powered tilt seat). WARRANTY: Lifetime limited warranty on the frame; 13-month limited warranty on electronics and drive motors (models 2S-C and 2S-SS).
