Picture of FULL POWER SUPERSTAND (MODEL PS-2) The Full Power SuperStand, model PS-2, is a powered stand up wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This is a powered wheelchair with a powered standing mechanism. FRAME (HxL sitting with leg rest): 35 x 41 inches. Length without leg rests is 29 inches. It has a rigid frame with push handles, rear anti-tips and front anti-tips when in the standing configuration. Each Full Power SuperStand wheelchair is customized to the user’s height, weight and physical specifications. It includes a five pocket backpack and a boutique frontpack. Black, red, green and blue are standard available colors for the frame, but 50 other colors and camouflage are available. CONTROLS: Penny & Giles joystick controller system mounted on a swingaway, adjustable arm controls movement and speed of the wheelchair and the standing mechanism. RWD: Rear wheel drive. SEAT: The seat depth is 17 inches. The back height is 15 inches. The seat-to-floor height can range from 19.625 to 21.625 inches. A seat belt with Velcro fastener is included. CUSHION: A 2-inch medium density foam cushion is standard; other cushions are available. UPHOLSTERY: The back has vinyl upholstery. ARMRESTS: Leather padded armrests convert to chest supports when standing. BRAKES: Included. CASTERS: Two 8 x 2 inch aluminum front swivel casters with puncture-proof tires. WHEELS: Two 12.5-inch or 10-inch pneumatic rear wheels (foam-filled tires are also available). FOOTRESTS: Swing-away and detachable leg rests; knee supports with leather pad; and flip-up, height-adjustable footplates. POWER: Uses two 12 volt, 33 amp batteries. OPTIONS: headrest, tray, cushion, arm trough. CAPACITY: 225 pounds.
