(Verified 09/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Trax Miniflex is a child's powered wheelchair designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurolgoical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This modular system is adjustable as the child grows. FRAME (HxLxW): 35 x 48 to 56 x 27 inches; transportable size is 26 x 48 x 27 inches. The wheelbase length is electrically adjustable. Base shroud color options are metallic silver, yellow, blue, or orange. CONTROLS: Powered servo-steering with a retractable joystick. SEAT (LxW): 10, 12, or 14 x 10, 12, or 14 inches. Seat height from the floor is 20 inches. An electric seat lift is included. The back rest (HxW) is 13, 15, or 17 x 10, 12, or 14 inches. The back rest angle reclines manually from 90 to 165 degrees. UPHOLSTERY: Leatherette or fabric. ARMRESTS (HxL): 6 to 12 x 8 to 10 inches. The distance between arm rests 10 to 14 inches depending on seat width. BRAKES: Braking distance is 138 inches. FOOTRESTS: Foot rest distance from seat cushion is adjustable from 5 to 14 inches. The leg support angle is manually adjustable from 90 to 110 degrees. POWER: Uses Group 27, Group 29, or Group 31 gel cell batteries; E27 SLD-G PERM is recommended. SPEEDS: 9 miles per hour. Speed can be limited to 5.5 mph for younger children. CAPACITY: 110 pounds. WEIGHT: 352 pounds including batteries.
