(Verified 8/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Everest CTR 1000 Power Chair is a heavy duty powered wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxW): 28.75 x 25 inches. Ground clearance is 3 inches. Turning radius is 20 inches for front wheel drive and 30 inches for rear wheel drive. Cowl is available in red, black, blue or silver. CONTROLS: VR 2 controller from PG Drives Electronics. FWD/RWD: This chair is available with either front wheel or rear wheel drive. SEAT (LxW): 19 x 19 inches. Floor to seat height is 21.5 inches. UPHOLSTERY: Available in black or gray. ARMRESTS: Adjustable width armrests. BRAKES: Electromechanical parking brakes. WHEELS: Airless wheels. POWER: Uses two 12 volt deep cycle batteries, group size U1 or 22 (not included). SPEEDS: 5 miles per hour. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 135 pounds. WARRANTY: 5 years on base frame and seat frame, 1 year on motors and electronics.
