--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE ---The Vector Mobility Pediatric Powered System is a line of powered wheelchair bases for children's wheelchairs. The line offers a custom fit base for a variety of children's shapes and sizes. FRAME: The lightweight frame is made of aluminum. Widths 21 or 23 inches; length 33 inches. CONTROLS: A variety of joystick configurations are available with programmable electronics. Front wheel and rear wheel drive is available. SEAT: Widths and depths range from 8 to 14 inches; back heights from 8 to 18 inches. Accepts special positioning devices such as recline, tilt-in-space, and elevating leg rests. All frames and seats have the Base Link attachment feature which provides for rapid attachment and detachment of different Vector Mobility seats to the same frame. Base Link also has a tilt-in-space feature that allows for movement between 0 and 60 degrees. CUSHION: Molded foam and custom cut foam cushions are available. UPHOLSTERY: Draw string, zipper removable or custom sewn cloth covers. ARMRESTS: Fixed, swing-back, lock or non-lock, and adjustable height. WHEELS: Drive wheels or 9, 10 or 12 inches. CASTERS: Casters come with diameters of 5 and 6 inches. FOOTRESTS: The front rigging can be fixed or adjustable length, fixed or adjustable angle, or elevating. The footplate can be fixed, flip-up or adjustable angle, and single or dual. POWER: Requires battery size U-I. WEIGHT: At least 16 pounds. WARRENTY: Lifetime frame warranty. COLORS: A variety of colors and shapes are available.
