(Verified 08/04) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Headrest Controller Kit, model HDR-5K, consist of hardware to implement various head or head-plus-other-movements controller configurations for individuals with quadriplegia. The kit comes with five Body Switches, model BS-1, (see separate entries) and one CPM-9 Manifold plus hardware for making custom configurations using head and other movements. Switches can be placed anywhere they are effective. Switches can be mounted using velcro for evaluation and then securely mounted once control scheme is decided on. It is designed to mount to rigid back of power wheelchair and has holes for left, right, forward switches or custom mount.
