Permits the use of proportional or switch actuators to operate an Everest & Jennings power wheelchair plus additional devices such as a power recliner, environmental control system, computer and/or communicator. Two wheelchair operating modes include adjustments for speed, acceleration and deceleration. Additional adjustments vary proportional joystick throw (sensitivity), set the veer rate (steering amount) when using a switch actuator, and select momentary and/or latching (continuous) wheelchair drive. Two auxillary modes provide eight switch-closure outputs. The mode status is shown by a Mode Display. An indicator light showing the status of the wheelchair motor controller, and a battery gauge is also provided.
