Picture of X850 CORPUS The X850 Corpus is a heavy duty powered wheelchair designed for outdoor, off-road use by adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxW): 49-57 x 28 inches. Minimum turning radius is 28 inches. The HD3 Corpus has a ground clearance of 3.25 inches and 4-wheel adjustable independent suspension. The base frame is available in black onyx, crystal blue and vintage wine. Front halogen lights and rear lights are included. CONTROLS: Safegate joystick controller that includes seat adjustment controls. Other control types are optional. FWD: Front-wheel drive. SEAT (DxW): 14-22 x 17-22 inches; the depth and width are adjustable. The back dimensions (HxW) are (21, 26.5 or 29.5) x (14, 16 or 18) inches; and sliding and fixed backrests are available in all sizes. Custom backrests with height over 19 inches are available. The backrest has optional manual or powered from 90 to 120 degrees and has trunk and lumbar support. An adjustable headrest is optional. The Corpus seat has adjustable lumbar and trunk supports. The floor-to-seat height is 22 inches. Manual or powered swivel with 180-degree rotation is optional. An optional powered seat elevator can raise the seat up to 8 inches, and there is an optional powered tilt feature and can tilt back 16 degrees. A positioning belt is also optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black leatherette upholstery. ARMRESTS: Folding padded armrests with black leatherette or fabric. The armrests are 4 inches wide, and are available in lengths of 10, 12, 14 and 16 inches. The height and angle of the armrests are adjustable. WHEELS: Four wheels with pneumatic tires. POWER: Uses two Group 31, 12-volt, 97-ampere gel batteries (not included). A charger is included. SPEED: 9 miles per hour. The maximum range is 28 miles per charge, and the maximum recommended incline is 15 degrees going up or down. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 400 pounds.
