(Verified 12/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Roleez All Terrain Fun Wheeler is a rickshaw-style (pulled from the front) cart with two balloon Roleez tires for transporting children and small adults on the beach, on nature trails, or other terrain where a conventional wheelchair would have difficulty traversing. The PVC frame has a rear tilt-bar to prevent flipping and a cushioned seat. The Fun Wheeler dismantles for transport and storage. WHEEL SYSTEM: Roleez tires are made of elastic plastic that conforms to soft or uneven terrain; they roll easily in soft sand, mud, or gravel where conventional wheelchair tires would sink in and be difficult to move. The tire contains a built-in patch function. The rims are heavy duty plastic with a flange to support the tire as it expands and widens under a heavy load. The ball bearings are self-lubricating plastic with felt seals on either side to keep out sand and grit. There is no metal in the wheels, so they can be totally submersed in water without being damaged. SAFETY FEATURES: Wheel locks to prevent runaways, standard seatbelt and chest strap; low center of gravity for stability. DIMENSIONS: 78"l x 40" with 42" handle assembled; 48"l x 40"w disassembled.
