« Previous Product Next Product »The Shadow QR is a manual, lightweight rigid frame racing wheelchair. FRAME: Available in 11 standard colors, 6 optional colors, and special effect or custom finishes, the frame is available in a range of widths from 12 to 20 inches. Custom modifications are also available. U-shaped anti-tip tubes are standard. SEAT: The seat rails on this chair extend 3.5 inches beyond the front of the upholstery. The seat depth ranges from 12 to 18 inches in one-inch increments. The rear seat height ranges from 13 to 18 inches in .5-inch increments and the front seat height ranges from 13 to 20 inches in .5-inch increments. The standard backrest folds, has a 0- to 8-degree angle adjustment, and is height adjustable; a choice of three heights is available, each of which has a three-inch height adjustment range. A folding backrest with height adjustment and adjustable upholstery is optional. CUSHION: A 2-inch cushion is standard; a three-inch cushion and a 2-inch T-foam cushion are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Sling upholstery. ARMRESTS: No. BRAKES: A choice of high- or low-mount scissor wheel locks is standard; low-mount push wheel locks are available at an extra charge. CASTERS: 3-inch micro casters. WHEELS: Quick-release 24- or 26-inch rear wheels with pneumatic tires, aluminum handrims, and a choice of 9-, 12-, or 15-degree camber is standard. High-pressure clincher tires are available at no extra charge. Latex tubular tires, no flat tires, high-performance tennis or basketball wheels with turbo tires, and plastic or foam handrims are optional. FOOTRESTS: Platform footrest. OPTIONS: Presta valve adapter; seat pouch; tire pump; positioning belts; chest strap; and others. WEIGHT: 13 to 15 pounds.
