--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Love Lift System is a transfer aid designed to provide the freedom of a wheelchair with the capabilities of a lift for persons with mobility disabilities. FRAME: 37.08 inches long and 22 or 25 inches wide. With its narrow frame, the system is designed to fit through standard-sized doors and allows access to normal-sized rest rooms. The chair's height adjustability is intended to enable the user to pull up to any standard table height, facilitate better eye-to-eye contact, ease transfer of user from chair to bed, and enable the user to use the toilet without transferring. The system is also designed to be used with non-modified vans and other vehicles, and folds to fit in most car trunks. SEAT: Combination stretcher/toilet seat. The removable seat allows the user to remain in the seat while in the car. Seat height ranges from 13 to 30 inches. CONTROLS: Joy stick control and power lift buttons and an adjustable seat that allows movement from upright to recline positions. POWER: The system operates on a dual motor drive using 24-volt system with batteries and charger included. OPTIONS: A non-power drive model is available, as are independently adjustable leg rests.

Notes: Love Lifts are currently being custom-adapted on a case-by-case basis by the developer.
