The Active Wheelchair Platform Rocker is a rocking attachment for a wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility or neurological disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, or spinal cord injury. This unit is designed to enable an individual to experience the benefits of rocking without transfering from a wheelchair. The rocker features an entry/exit rear ramp, adjustable front caster stops to center the wheelchair on the platform, and two safety wheelchair tie-down straps. The Active Platform Rocker has a long platform design to accommodate individuals who seek sensory input through rocking, tend to rock vigorously, or use a wheelchair with a long base.
