-- DISCONTINUED. (VERIFIED 8/95) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. -- The Amigo Mite is a three-wheeled powered wheelchair alternative, or scooter, designed for indoor and outdoor use. FRAME: Painted steel platform with a 20-inch wheel base. Overall length is 29 inches; width with dual rear wheels is 24 inches. CONTROLS: Operated by a thumb control on a T- style handle. DRIVE: Front wheel drive (FWD). SEAT: The padded seat is height adjustable, swivels 360 degrees, and locks in any position. The seat is removable without tools. A power seat lift is available as an option. BRAKES: Dynamic and regenerative braking with choice of right or left side brake lock. WHEELS: Dual 6-inch flat-free rear wheels; 6-inch flat-free front tire. Front and rear stability wheels. POWER: 12-volt electrical system uses one battery and includes a battery charger. The battery is removable without tools. SPEEDS: Maximum speed is 3.4 miles per hour for a maximum range of 16 miles. Variable speed forward and reverse. WEIGHT: 90 pounds including batteries; 51 pounds without seat, handle, or battery.
