--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Amigo Supreme Nursing Home is a three-wheeled powered wheelchair alternative, or scooter, for indoor and outdoor use. FRAME: Composite platform with a 31 inch wheel base. Overall length is 42 inches; width is 22 inches. CONTROLS: Operated by a lever control in an oval shaped handlebar mounted on an adjustable tilt handle. DRIVE: Front wheel drive (FWD). SEAT: Seat is position and height adjustable, and has a sheepskin seat cover. The seat is locked in a front facing position. ARMRESTS: Flip- up arms. BRAKES: Dynamic, regenerative, and electromagnetic braking, with choice of right or left side brake lock. WHEELS: 8-inch flat-free rear wheels; 6-inch flat-free front tire. Front stability wheels and rear stability bumper wheels. POWER: 24-volt electrical system uses two compact 12-volt batteries and includes an on-board battery charger with retractable reel. SPEEDS: Maximum speed is 1.68 miles per hour with a maximum range of 30 miles. WEIGHT: 122 pounds including batteries.
