Picture of ATH-ALL TERRAIN HANDCYCLE The ATH- All Terrain Handcycle is a hand-propelled recumbent cycle designed for use by individuals with severe physical or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. It is designed for use on unpaved surfaces and trails. The Handcycle Elite features Shimano SLX components, including SLX M662 Derailleurs, SLX M660 9-speed Shifter Set, CS-HG61-12-36T cassette, SRAM PC-951 Chain, and Ergo-Lite handgrips. Other components are available. The crank arm is available in a variety of lengths and widths. FRAME: The frame is made of magnesium alloy, and it has aluminum forks. SEAT (WxD): 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 x 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 inches. Backrest height is available from 12 to 20 inches in 1-inch increments. The backrest angle is adjustable from 70 to 90 degrees. UPHOLSTERY: Tension strap upholstery; the backrest has 1.5-inch foam padding. BRAKES: Avid Juicy 3.5 hydraulic disc brake with Avid BB5 parking brake. WHEELS: Spinergy/WTB wheels with Schwalbe Fat Albert tires. The rear wheel camber is 6 degrees, and the width between the rear wheels is 30 inches. WEIGHT: 40 pounds. COLOR: Available in a variety of colors. WARRANTY: Lifetime limited warranty on frame.
