The Expedition is a hand propelled cycle designed for use by children four feet, eight inches tall or less who have lower extremity disabilities. Riders use a rowing-style push/pull arm motion to propell this cycle. This adjustable bike features foot mounts with foot straps, a low-backed seat with safety strap, and a telescopic post and adjustable handlebars that can be repositioned as needed to meet the needs of the rider or to allow more room for transfers.The Expedition Wide Glide has the same features, but with a wider wheel base for greater stability. OPTIONS: High-back seat (see also separate entry). DIMENSIONS: The Expedition is a 16-inch cycle and the seat back is 7.5 inches high. COLOR: Silver frame with a black U-bar, silver frame with a purple U-bar, or black frame with a silver U-bar.
