Superbike LC-1 is a hand-propelled three-wheel cycle designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This handcycle uses body position for steering and features Body Lean Steer technology. The LC-1 comes standard with Shimano Rapid-Fire shifting mounted on the T-handles for hands-on shifting, pedaling and braking. The rider maintains speed while pedaling through corners by leaning to steer. The crank arm is available in a variety of widths: 22, 24, or 26 inches for longer stroke, wider grip and greater power delivery. FRAME: 413 thin wall Chrome-Moly frame and 6-foot orange visibility flag. SEAT: Custom contoured, aluminum two-piece seat with adjustable back and fully covered padded seat back and bottom. The seat bottom uses two densities of foam. UPHOLSTERY: UV resistant nylon fabric. BRAKES: Shimano side pull front caliper brake and Avid disc brake. FOOTRESTS: Full wrap-around 6061 T-6 adjustable anodized aluminum footrests. COLOR: Red or silver. OPTIONAL EQUIPMENTS: Sun Mate memory foam seat, Hed Carbon Fiber Wheels (set of three), Zip Carbon Fiber 404 650 Wheels (set of three).
