Picture of EL TUCURA OFF-ROAD TRIKE -------- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To design a prototype of an off-road hand-propelled tricycle for individuals with paraplegia or other mobility disabilities. The El Tucura ("the Grasshopper") is a hand-propelled trike that provides paraplegic users the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of off-road, downhill, mountain biking. The El Tucura’s crank handle drive allows hands to be free for steering while accelerating. The three 180-millimeter disc brakes and a 250-millimeter suspension provide added control on extreme downhills. TITLE: The Grasshopper. WEBSITE: Yanko Design.
