The Discovery Bike is a three wheeled leg propelled cycle designed for use by children with lower extremity, neurological, or balance disabilities. This bike is fully adjustable and has independently adjustable handlebars and post. The pedals automatically move when the bike is moved, assisting new riders in learning the proper reciprocal leg movements and the bike can be pedaled forward and backward. Standard features include locking hand brakes, foot straps on the pedals, a low-backed seat, and an assistance handle.OPTIONS: High-back seat (see also separate entry). DIMENSIONS: This bike is available in a 12-inch or a 16-inch model. The seat back is 7.5 inches high. COLOR: Choice of a black or white frame with accents in magenta, red, yellow, or teal.
