« Previous Product Next Product »The Discovery Bike Wide Glide is a three wheeled leg propelled cycle with a wide wheel base designed for use by children with lower extremity, neurological, or balance disabilities. This bike is fully adjustable and has independently adjustable handlebars and post. The pedals automatically move when the bike is moved, assisting new riders in learning the proper reciprocal leg movements and the bike can be pedaled forward and backward. Standard features include locking hand brakes, foot straps on the pedals, a low-backed seat, and an assistance handle. OPTIONS: High-back seat (see also separate entry). DIMENSIONS: This bike is available in a 16-inch or a 20-inch model. The seat back is 7.5 inches high. The wheels are 16 x 1.75 inches. COLOR: Choice of a black frame with red accents, a black frame with purple accents, or a yellow frame with red accents.
Notes: This cycle is too wide to fit through most standard doorways.
