The software consists of several newspapers ranging in subject from ecology to money. Once the newspaper has been read, students play games to reinforce what they learned. The program is designed to build vocabulary and critical thinking skills. Kid-Leidoscope is available in two separate volumes broken down into subject matter. The program is available on 5.25 inch disks for Apple systems and 3.5 inch disks for MS-DOS systems. COMPATIBILITY: The software is designed to run on Apple and MS-DOS computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The memory requirements for Apple computers is 48K and 128K for MS-DOS systems. WARRANTY/GUARANTEE: If not fully satisfied, return software within 30 days (in resaleable condition) for full refund. Return defective disk to Mindplay for replacement. Disks will be replaced free for 90 days, thereafter, for a handling free of only $10.
