Picture of FIRST LETTERS AND PHONICS First Letters and Phonics is a pre-reading, language and vocabulary tutorial program designed for use by children with developmental or learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder or language disabilities. This application (or app) is a phonics-based interactive game that is designed to help children develop fine motor skills, learn to recognize both uppercase and lowercase letters, learn the names of letters, learn the sounds that letters make (phonics), and learn words that begin with each letter. The game includes a picture for each letter of the alphabet and a voice saying each letter, phoneme, and word. It also features two versions of the ABC Song - one using letter names and one using phonics. The user interface has been tested with toddlers and young children and is designed specifically for little fingers. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.1.3 or later.
