Available in three option packages for IBM compatible computers depending on the user's abilities, this communications system features a base unit, a compact cordless transceiver unit that resides with user, and a Sip & Puff headset. The base unit is designed to plug into any existing modular telephone outlet anywhere in the user's home. To place a telephone call, the user needs only to blow into the tube and then sip air from the tube--this places the user in contact with an operator who dials the phone number for the user. After the phone number is dialed, the user blows into the tube in order to establish a connection with the dialed number. The system also features 900 MHZ (megahertz) digital communication technology engineered to offer the user clear and crisp communication without static or noise. In addition, privacy is maintained for the user through electronic security codes (65,000) that are designed to prevent any unauthorized eavesdropping. COMPATIBILTY: IBM.
