(Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Boxter 3-Wheeled Electric Scooter is a scooter designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. Features include a monitoring computer, a large wicker-style basket, and full lighting pakage with turning signals. FRAME (LxW): 47 x 25 inches. This scooter has a 38-inch wheelbase with a turning radius of 45 inches. It has a ground clearance of 3 inches and can climb a 20-degree grade. Available body colors include candy apple red, teal blue, onyx black, and dark metallic green. RWD: 24-volt sealed transaxle drive system. SEAT: Reclining seat with 360-degree swivel, 2.5-inch front/back slides, and a high back with headrest. ARMRESTS: Included. BRAKES: Electronic magnetic disk brakes. WHEELS: 3 x 10 inch wheels with aluminum alloy hubs. The wheels can move manually as well as under electric power from the motor. POWER: Uses two 12-volt 38AH batteries. A battery charger is included and the scooter has a digital battery display. SPEEDS: 5.5 miles per hour. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 170 pounds. WARRANTY: One-year warranty on parts and labor and a three-year limited warranty on the frame.
