--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Fortress 2000PD is a three-wheeled scooter drsigned for use by children with mobility disabilities. FRAME (LxW): The scooter disassembles for transport and is 41 x 24 inches. The wheelbase is 28 inches long. CONTROLS: Proportional tiller control. RWD: Rear-wheel drive. SEAT: Available in 14-, 16- or 18-inches wide. A swivel seat is standard. UPHOLSTERY: Vinyl. ARMRESTS: Flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Dynamic electronic brakes. WHEELS: 8 inch wheels with pneumatic tires. Foam filleed tires are optional. POWER: Uses two group 22, 12-volt batteries; the batteries and charger are included. SPEEDS: 4.4 or 5.5 miles per hour for a range of 14 miles. OPTIONS: Baskets and a lighting package. CAPACITY: 200 pounds. WEIGHT: 138 pounds including batteries. WARRANTY: One year.
