Picture of FREEDOM The Freedom is a three-wheeled scooter designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. This scooter is equipped with a front mesh basket. FRAME (LxW): 40 x 21 inches. Ground clearance is 2.8 inches and the turning radius is 30 inches. The scooter is available in red and disassembles for transport and storage. The frame is equipped with a tow handle to enable the scooter to be pulled across level surfaces. RWD: Rear wheel transaxle drive. CONTROLS: Controls are located on the adjustable tiller. SEAT: Removable swivel seat. UPHOLSTERY: Black vinyl. ARMRESTS: flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Electro-mechanical brakes. WHEELS: Eight-inch wheels. POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery pack. SPEEDS: Maximum forward speed is 4.7 miles per hour and maximum reverse speed is 2.7 miles per hour for a range of up to 16.3 miles. A variable speed control knob is standard. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 69 pounds without batteries. The heaviest piece weighs 29 pounds.
