The Celebrity XL is a four-wheeled scooter or powered wheelchair alternative designed for outdoor use by people with physical disabilities or limited mobility. FRAME (LxW): 51.24 x 25.5 inches with a turning radius of 62 inches and a ground clearance of 4.5 inches. The wrap-around heavy-duty steel frame disassembles without tools for transport and storage. The body features bumpers, rear anti-tips and covered battery and storage areas. It is available in blue or red. CONTROLS: Finger-tip controls are located on an independently angle-adjustable console on the tiller. The console has wrap-around handles on each side. The tiller also can be adjusted to multiple angles. The Celebrity XL includes a front basket and a full lighting package with directional signals and angle-adjustable dual bulb lower headlight. RWD: 24-volt DC motor with sealed transaxel drive. SEAT (WxDxH): 18 x 18 x 27 inches. A CRS deluxe reclining high back seat is standard. The seat rotates, slides toward the front and back, and is height-adjustable. It has an adjustable headrest. An optional power seat is available. ARMRESTS: Flip-up, padded armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative brakes and disc park brake. WHEELS: Four 4 x 13 inch wheels with gray pneumatic tires. Flat-free tires are optional. OPTIONS: Rear basket; weather cover; crutch holders; oxygen tank holder; walker holder; safety flag. POWER: 24-volt motor uses 2 removable 12-volt, deep-cycle (AGM or gel-cell type recommended) size U1 (31-36 AH) batteries. An off-board 5- amp battery charger is included. SPEEDS: Maximum forward speed of 8 miles per hour with a range of 25 miles. Reverse speed is 60 percent of the forward speed. The unit includes an electronic speed control. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 247 pounds with batteries; 200 pounds without batteries. When disassembled, heaviest piece is 83 pounds. WARRANTY: The manufacturer offers a limited three-year warranty on this product.
