Picture of AMIGO MC --- DISCONTINUED (Verified 2/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Amigo MC is a 3-wheeled scooter designed for indoor and outdoor use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities. A front basket is included. FRAME (LxWxH): 43.75 x 23.5 x 37.75 inches. The underbody ground clearance is 3.5 inches, and the MC has a 34-inch turning radius. The unpainted steel frame is available with a black deck and cinnamon red cover over the batteries and rear wheels. RWD: UNIPAC and Vari-Speed rear-wheel drive system with no belts or chains. CONTROLS: 26-inch infinitely-adjustable EZ-Tilt handle with foam grip and HI/LO speed controls. A cinnamon red handle is available as an option. SEAT: Atwood folding seat with 360-degree seat rotation and seat lock is standard. A Premier I padded folding seat upgrade is optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black. ARMRESTS: Flip-up, adjustable, removable arms. BRAKES: Electromagnetic braking with manual release; dynamic and regenerative brakes. WHEELS: 9-inch solid front tire and two 10.5-inch foam-filled mag rear wheels are standard. OPTIONS: Crutch holder; walker holder; oxygen tank holder; basket cane holder; seat belt; rear bumper with stability wheels; and platform step are available. POWER: Uses two 7-amp airline-safe, sealed batteries (included). A 24-volt, 2-amp off-board battery charger with alternating current (AC) cord is included. SPEED: 5.9 miles per hour with a range of up to 22 miles. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 142 pounds. WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty.
