--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 5/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Bobcat is a powered wheelchair alternative. This three-wheeled scooter disassembles for transport and storage. FRAME: Steel. Overall dimensions are 44 inches long, 23.5 inches wide with a 33 inch turning radius. CONTROLS: The scooter has an adjustable tiller with an easy release lever. SEAT: Uncontoured cushioned seat and back; back flips down. UPHOLSTERY: Fabric. ARMRESTS: Desk style padded armrests. BRAKES: Automatic electronic parking brake. POWER: Battery operated; uses standard U-1 size gel cell batteries. SPEEDS: 5.5 MPH maximum speed. Range is 10 to 20 miles on one charge. CAPACITY: Maximum user weight is 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 143 pounds with batteries; heaviest part when disassembled is 38 pounds. WARRANTY: 1- year on all electronics; 2 years on frame and drive train.
