--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 9/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE --- The Pony II is a three-wheeled, powered wheelchair alternative, or scooter, designed specifically for children. The Pony II is available in two sizes (Models 4314R and 4315R), but the power head, brakes, and controls can transfer from the smaller unit to the larger. This provides for a cost savings when purchasing a new chassis for a growing child. STANDARD EQUIPMENT: Power indicator light; adjustable contoured swivel seat with lumbar support (available in three sizes); choice of tiller heights; proportional control with speed limiter; regenerative/dynamic braking; battery charger; extendible rear wheels; electromechanical brake. POWER: Gell-cell battery (included). OPTIONS: Crutch holder; Bent tiller; buckle lap belt; sheepskin cover; fixed or flip-up arms for molded seats; carrying bag; foot restraint system; basket; and adaptive seat with optional truck supports, abduction and adduction pads, and shoulder harness. OVERALL DIMENSIONS: Model 4314R measures 22 to 28 inches wide, 34.5 to 38 inches long; Model 4315R is 22 to 28 inches wide, 37.5 to 41 inches long. SEAT DIMENSIONS: Model 4314R has a 12-inch square seat; Model 4315R has a 14-inch square seat. SPEED: 0 to 3.5 mph for a range of 8 to 16 miles with a maximum incline of 10 percent (6 degrees) for both models. WARRANTY: Lifetime limited warranty covers frame weldment defects; defects in manufacturing, materials or workmanship are covered for 12 months from date of purchase (parts only); batteries are not included under any warranty; upholstery carries a 30 day warranty; transaxle drive assemblies carry a 36 month warranty.
