--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 9/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE --- The Triumph is a three-wheeled scooter designed for indoor and outdoor use by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME: The scooter is 23.75 inches wide, 43.75 inches long, and the ground clearance is 5 inches. The frame includes front anti-tip wheels. The scooter is available in a standard choice of currant red metallic, royal blue metallic, and emerald green metallic. CONTROLS: Electronic control box mounted on a height- and angle-adjustable tiller. Forward and reverse is controlled by pressing levers mounted on the tiller on either side of the control box. RWD: Rear wheel drive. SEAT: Removable, height-adjustable, padded, molded swivel seat with a folding back is standard. The optional deluxe seat has chair-style shaping and padding and a height- and angle-adjustable back with lumbar support. The standard seat is 17 x 17 x 13 inches and the deluxe seat is 22 x 18 x 18 inches. An optional power seat is also available. ARMRESTS: Width-adjustable, flip-up armrests are standard. BRAKES: Electronic brakes are standard. WHEELS: 10-inch wheels with 10 x 3.5 inch tires. POWER: Uses two 12-volt gel batteries (not included). The battery charger is included and a battery charge gauge and charger outlet are located on the control box. SPEEDS: Maximum forward speed is 5.5 miles per hour and the maximum reverse speed is 3.0 miles per hour for 22 miles at a maximum grade of 9 degrees. CAPACITY: 250 pounds with the standard seat and 350 pounds with the deluxe seat. WEIGHT: 160 pounds with the standard seat and batteries
