(Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Amigo ECV is a scooter designed for use on indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, sidewalks and carpeting for individuals with a mobility disabilities. These scooters are designed specifically to be used as rentals by Malls, Theme Parks, Zoos, Hotels, Casinos, etc. FRAME: Composite platform with a rear safety bumper with optional sign dsplay for promotional purposes. The red, white and blue has dove gray accents and includes a vinyl-coated basket to hold belongings. The scooter is 42.5 inches long x 23.5 inches wide x 36.75 inches tall. CONTROLS: "Power on Demand" microprocessor offers safe operation on inclines and in crowded areas. The Touchtron Oval Handle provides safe, easy to use, controls with horn, security light and two speed options. DRIVE: Unipac and vari-speed Drive system including sealed, lifetime-lubricated, high torque motor with no belts and quiet operation. SEAT: Washable padded seat. Also included are a seat activation switch and rotation resistance mechanism for safe transferring. The seat rotates 360 degrees with a seat lock. ARMRESTS: "No pinch" flp-up, padded armrest. BRAKES: Anti-jolt delayed braking with an emergency safety brake system. WHEELS: Nonmarking, flat free tires. POWER: 24 Volt electrical system with two 12-volt airline safe, sealed batteries. An onboard charger with a retractable cord is included. SPEED: User speed is 0-2.3 miles per hour while staff speed can be set for 0-4.5 miles per hour. This scooter has a 30 mile battery capacity.
