Picture of AMIGO RT EXPRESS JUNIOR The Amigo RT Express Junior is a 3-wheeled scooter designed for indoor or outdoor use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities. FRAME (HxLxW): 33 x 38.5 x 20.5 inches. This compact scooter is designed to accommodate people up to five feet, four inches tall. A version with a 3-inch longer platform is also available (see separate listing for Amigo RT Express). The scooter has a one-piece platform with an underbody ground clearance of 2.5 inches and a turning radius of 33 inches. The scooter disassembles for transport. The painted steel frame is available in champagne beige, pacific blue, midnight black, or cinnamon red, with a black rear safety bumper. A basket mounted on the front of the tiller is standard. CONTROLS: ASIC MPC electronic controller. Controls are located on an adjustable 25-inch EZ-Tilt handle with foam grip HI/LO speed controls (Touch-Tron handle available). RWD: Unipac vari-speed rear-wheel drive system with no belts or chains. SEAT: Premier I folding seat with 360-degree seat rotation and seat lock. A power seat lift is optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black. ARMRESTS: Flip-up, adjustable, removable arms. BRAKES: Electromagnetic braking with manual release. WHEELS: 6-inch solid front tire and 9-inch Trimline rear tires. OPTIONS: Crutch holder; walker holder; oxygen tank holder; and basket cane holder are available. POWER: Uses two 17-amp sealed batteries (included). A 24-volt, 2-amp onboard battery charger with alternating current (AC) cord is included. SPEEDS: Up to 5 miles per hour; maximum range of 22 miles. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 125 pounds with batteries. WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty.
