« Previous Product Next Product »The Ultimate Writing and Creativity Center is a word processor program designed to offer features that guide users through the five stages of writing for individuls who are developmenatally delayed. The full featured word processor enables children to create high quality reports, storybooks, newsletters, journals, and signs. Other features include Picture Place, where children are offered drawing and painting tools to illustrate their stories; Presentation Program, sllows children to play their documents as multimedia presentations complete with sound and animation; and Interactive Spoken Help, where a character guides children through the five stages of writing. The word processor offers a dictionary and thesaurus, spell checker that can be set to prompt the child to try a new spelling before offering suggestions, and text-to-speech capability to read the document aloud. The Desktop publishing offers pre-formatted documents, clip art pictures, sounds and animations, and multiple age appropriate fonts. COMPATIBILITY: CD-ROM for windows or Macintosh. Floppy disk for Windows. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows CD-ROM or Floppy requires 386DX/33 MHz or better; 4 MB RAM (Floppy version requires 20 MB of available hard disk space); Windows 3.1 or higher (runs on Windows 95); DOS 5.0 or higher; 256 color SVGA or 16 color VGA; double speed CD-ROM or better Windows compatible sound card; mouse. Macintosh CD-ROM requires 68030 processor or better; 4 MB RAM; hard disk; 256 color monitor; double speed CD-ROM drive or better; System 7 or higher; mouse; monitor must be 13 inches or larger.
