(Verified 08/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The LS&S Talking Compact Size Calendar/Alarm Clock, model LHS-92, is a voice output calendar and alarm clock designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This pocket-sized unit announces the time at the touch of one button and the day of the week, month, date, and year at the touch of another. Other features include an alarm clock function with 12 different sounds, hourly alarm mode, snooze mode, selectable adjustment for daylight savings time, 12- or 24-hour clock mode, and independent volume controls for voice announcement and the alarm. The unit is equipped with a jack for a power adapter (not included) and a jack for headphones (not included). POWER: Uses one 9-volt battery (not included) or an alternating current (AC) adapter (not included). The time is preserved for up to 20 minutes during a battery change. DIMENSIONS: 3.8 x 2.4 x 1 inches. WEIGHT: 3 ounces. WARRANTY: One year.
