--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 1/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Steel Wheel Aquatic Chair is a wheelchair for use in swimming pools and therapy pools. FRAME: The frame and all bolts, screws, castors are made of type 316 non-corrosive stainless steel. The tubing (.064 wall, 1 inch diameter) is rounded to eliminate sharp corners. SEAT: Equipped with two nylon web seat belts with velcro closures for chest and waist areas. ARMRESTS: Swing-away style armrests. CASTERS: 8 x 1 inch front casters. WHEELS: Plastic mag rear wheels, 24 x 1 3/8 inch solid tires. FOOTRESTS: Wheel locks and footrests are a combination of durable plastic and stainless steel; fold-up removable footrests.
