The Visually and Hearing Impaired Activity Center (model 540) is a sensory busy box that was designed to provide somatosensory stimulation for children with vision and hearing disabilities. The sturdy red plastic box has a bright yellow plate that vibrates when touched, an orange oval plate with a spinning soft cloth, and a pull ball that turns on a fan. DIMENSIONS: 9 x 12 inches.

Notes: All busy boxes and activity centers are now available in black plastic so that children with low vision will be able to distinguish the activating areas with greater ease. ** Toys for Special Children also designs, develops, and manufactures one-of-a-kind devices for persons with disabilities.
