Picture of BLACK PEARL PIRATE SHIP The Black Pearl Pirate Ship is a switch operated toy designed for use by children with upper extremity, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. Based on the ship from Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" film trilogy, this toy ship is adapted with an accessible remote control. Activating the large disc with directionality arrows moves the ship forward, backward, right, or left. As it moves, the ship lights go on in the Captain’s quarters. Pushing the red switch with a picture of a cannon on it activates cannon sounds. POWER: Uses one 9-volt battery and four double-A Batteries. DIMENSIONS: The ship is 19 inches long x 15.5 inches high x 5 inches wide; the controller is 2.5 x 8 x 11 inches. The main disc is 5.5 inches in diameter and the red switch is 2.5 inches in diameter.
