« Previous ProductZurk's Rainforest Lab is an academic tutorial program designed to develop language, life science, math and thinking skills for individuals with a developmental or physical disability. Through exploring the Central American rainforest, students will sharpen reading, writing and critical thinking skills, while learning basic math, geometry and life science. On their adventures, students engage in five activities including completing pattern puzzles, classifying animals, and searching for camouflaged eggs. They can also take pictures and read and hear about animals in a jungle safari, then write stories about the animals they have photographed. Zurk's Rainforest Lab features picture book quality watercolor graphics, original music with Latin beat and real jungle sounds recorded on site. This program is available on CD-ROM for Macintosh or Windows, and is designed to be TouchWindow accessible (see separate entry). COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh or IBM. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: CD-ROM drive; 640 by 480 resolution monitor (256 colors); System 7.0 or higher; 6 MB available RAM. Optional: TouchWindow.
