The Custom Lawn Bowl Wheelchair is a sports wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. Built to comply with lawn bowls regulations for using wheelchairs on the green, this wheelchair is custom built to the user's specifications for size, rake and camber. The low ride height puts the user closer to the green, and the wide castor positions allow the user's feet to clear the castor wheels. Wheel/frame offsets can be built in to help place the user over the bowl, and bowl holders can be mounted above or below the chair. FRAME: Fixed or folding aluminum frame with powdercoat finish (standard). Options include titanium frame; anti tips. SEAT: Adjustable back height in fixed frame (standard). Options include waist strap; back bar cover; tapered seat. UPHOLSTERY: Upholstery with adjustable back. ARMRESTS: Skirt guards and foot strap (standard); rigid skirt guards (optional). CASTERS: 200 x 50 millimeters. WHEELS: 20 x 1.75 inch quick release wheels (standard). Options include rubber coated pushrims; spoke guards. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable footplate height (standard); ABS on footplate (optional).
