Picture of ABASOFT TALKING DESKTOP SOFTWARE Abasoft Desktop Software is a voice input and voice output program designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury, upper extremity, severe physical, mobility or vision disabilities. This talking and listening software offers speech recognition, dictation and a natural text-to-speech voice. The program talks back to the user at every opportunity in addition to displaying text. Features include voice commands for hands-free computer operation, including MP3 music, weather maps, dictation, Internet browsers, to-do reminders and email. Users can create voice names for favorite web sites, pictures, weather maps and programs as well as talk to interactive animated characters with a microphone and listen to the computer talk back through the speakers. OPTIONS: Headset with microphone. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible laptop, desktop, or mobile computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows Vista or Windows 7; 2 gigabytes (GB) RAM minimum; speech recognition quality headset or microphone.
