--- DISCONTINUED (Verified 2/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE.--- MIKE (Mouse Interface and Keyboard Emulation) is a mouse emulator and keyboard modification program designed to allow the Liberator and DeltaTalker communicators to interface with a personal computer. This hardware and software package uses the Trace Transparent Access Module (see separate entry) with a special software program which puts all of the necessary keyboard and mouse definitions into the communicator's memory. The user can select keys and mouse movements from the communicator and these will be translated directly into the keyboard and mouse input to the computer. The module is connected directly to the computer's standard keyboard and mouse connections, and the standard keyboard can remain connected and in use when the program is being operated. Model MIKE-WS merges with Word Strategy on the Liberator (see separate entries), MIKE-UNL is designed for use with Unity on the Liberator, and model MIKE-UND merges with Unity on the DeltaTalker (see separate entries). MIKE is also compatible with the T-TAM (see separate entry) and several software emulators. COMPATIILITY: For use with Apple IIg, Macintosh (except 128 and Plus models), and IBM and compatible computers (AT or newer).
