(Verified 09/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Electricjoy Joystick Mouse is a sip and puff mouse emulator designed for use by individuals with neurological, upper extremity, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. The joystick on this mouse emulator is a sip-and-puff tube. The user moves the mouse cursor by moving the joystick, and clicks the mouse by puffing into the tube. A double puff is used to perform a double click, and a right click is performed by sipping. The computer can be turned on with a sip on the joystick tube, and holding a sip for about five seconds shuts the computer off when it has frozen up. The mouse emulator panel has a clamp allowing it to be mounted on either a flat surface such as a a table edge or on a piece of tubing for wheelchair mounting. The device comes with a heavy duty gooseneck to withstand the pressure involved in moving the joystick. The joystick has a replaceable body with a hydrophilic filter insert. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple Macintosh or IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows, DOS, or Linux; ATX power supply; expansion slot. For Macintosh computers, a YMouse adapter is required. DIMENSIONS: Gooseneck is 24 inches long.
