The EyeGuide Eye Tracker is an eye-controlled input system designed for use by individuals with severe physical or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. The system includes a headset that mounts a small camera with a wireless transmitter in front of the user's face to track eye movement, a wireless receiver that connects via USB to the computer to transmit the eye movements to the computer, and software. The software allows the user to calibrate the system to lighting conditions and capture data on usage and task performance. It also analyzes data, allows for observation and control of tests and tasks, and exports data analysis results to .webm, .csv, .html, and .png formats. Future software upgrades are included. The camera can be switched to calibrate on either the right or left eye. The system works with users who have glasses or contacts, and under any light conditions including outdoors. POWER: The headset requires three AAA batteries. COMPATIBILITY: Windows or Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Windows: Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later, Intel Pentium 4 1.8 gigahertz (GHz) or better, 512 megabytes (MB) RAM, 100 MB disk space, CD/DVD-ROM drive or Internet connection (for software installation), one available USB 2.0 port. For Macintosh: Mac OS X 10.5 or later, Intel Core 2 Duo or better, 512 MB RAM, 100 MB disk space, CD/DVD-ROM or Internet connection; one available USB 2.0 port.
