--- DISCONTINUED. This program enables complete application-independent computer operation by voice. The voice is not used to communicate with applications, but to bring the cursor directly to the needed point on the screen, and then to perform mouse commands. QPointer may be used to point at words in documents, on icons, on buttons, and elsewhere on the screen; graphics, including icons, links, toolbar elements, etc.; and controls such as scrollbar elements, minimize button, maximize button, etc. Switching between applications may also be accomplished by voice. This program also enables the user to create, format, edit, and save documents; write, edit, and manage E-mail; and surf the Internet, all by voice. A database of the user's most commonly used words can be created and profiles for multiple users can be stored. This software permits dictation into any Windows-based application.
