(Verified 01/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Modified Sony 4-Track Play/2-Track Record AM/FM Stereo Radio Boombox is a four track cassette tape player/recorder designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This modified portable unit can be used to listen to Library of Congress talking books. It features factory built-in variable speed. Other standard features include external speakers; microphone, alternating current (AC), and earphone jack; pause; and mega bass. The set includes a protective case and a stereo microphone. The unip plays FM stereo or standard speed stereo tapes through the speakers or headphones and records in mono on two tracks. It also records directly from the radio at standard two-track speed. POWER: Uses two double-A batteries (not included). DIMENSIONS (WxHxD): 4.5 x 3.5 x 1 3/8 inches. WEIGHT: Four ounces. WARRANTY: One year.
