« Previous Product Next Product »OmniPage Pro 14 is a voice output optical character recognition program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. The program converts scanned paper documents into text files in a variety of electronic formats, including Word, XML, HTML, Open e-Book, and PDF (Portable Document Format). Files can be read aloud, and words can be corrected by voice or by typing. The program also converts PDF documents into Microsoft Office documents that preserve formatting. Paper and electronic documents can be converted into audio files for playback or burning to CD. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Intel Pentium III processor or equivalent; Microsoft Windows 98 SE, 2000 with Service Pack 2 or higher, Me, XP, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 or above, or Windows Server 2003 operating system; Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 2 or later; a minimum of 128 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM), 256 MB recommended; 135 MB of free hard disk space for application files and sample images, plus 40 to 45 MB working space during installation; 20 to 67 MB per RealSpeak speech module (343 MB in total for nine languages); 5 MB for Microsoft Installer (MSI) if not present; 800 x 600 pixel color monitor with 16-bit color or greater video card; CD-ROM drive for installation; compatible scanner with its own scanner driver software.
